August 20th - introduction to origami technique and material.
We start off with simple shapes, and move on to make a water lily. At the end of day 1, we shall end up with a few dozen water lilies which will be set to float with lit candles on the water. Choreography and symbolism of this act will come as a unique improvisation of the moment.
August 21st - we shall take two hours for the creation of a single figure, a capercaillie: the emblem of the festival.
Materials for the workshop will be provided by collecting all the leaflets, flyers, brochures and promotional materials we’ll be finding inside and around our postal boxes. Thus, we shal have enough free material at our disposal, of various shape, color and size; for the larger figures we can use some posters
